After I made the coffee, cleaned up the house, made the pumpkin cookies (think: rations), yelled at my kids, yelled at my husband, made myself some calming tea, took a shower, fretted that the hurricane would make the tub fall through the living room ceiling, I went to my bedroom bookshelf to decide on some light reading. I needed a book that would help relax and convince me there are other things in the world besides hurricanes to think about.

Here’s what I found. Can you help me decide?

(Three blog posts in three days after such a long hiatus? I guess I’m making up for lost time.)

Crossing to Safety is one of my all-time favorite books! I suggest that one. xoxo

That was one actually that the Husband bought and never finished reading. Maybe I should crack it….

I’d go more escapist and read about somewhere without storms. But that’s just me.

Be safe!
