My post from last week, “Figuring Out How to Do It” has been accepted and syndicated on BlogHer today.
If you don’t know much about BlogHer, it’s a great site that helps give female writers exposure while exploring all kinds of issues that relate to the modern woman. They also have a yearly conference for bloggers that is the talk of the town in the blogosphere. I went last year. It was awesome. (This year, I’ll go if some nice person wants to pay for a plane ticket to San Diego….)
I am thrilled to see my post “in lights” for the second time. Feel free to read my first syndicated post while you’re over there, “Blogging Creates a Space of One’s Own.”
Oh, and I suppose that since it’s March 17th, I should say Happy St. Patrick’s Day, even though there is no real celebration happening in this household. While two of our four family members have flaming red hair, the adults of the house are tired and blame their very active small children for their inability to get disgustingly drunk and have any remaining sense of dignity. (But oh, there will be wine with my very red spaghetti, I assure you.)
Over the weekend, Husband said, “You know, we do have an Irish flag. Should we hang it?”
I answered with a very deliberate “No.” Our neighborhood is Irish enough for the whole damn country.
I feel a little bad that my son doesn’t know he’s Irish and that I forgot to put him in something green for school. Maybe we’ll talk this over at dinner tonight. So there. I’m doing my part.
Good luck to you! Now head on over to BlogHer, if you will!

Congratulations!!!!!!.
I have also read the one you posted there last year, and I totally agree with you: our blog is our private space. No matter how many things we are involved with in everyday life, we always find a moment for it. It is so rewarding!!!!!!!!!!!!
